Contemporary fashion brand COS will host a hybrid showcase with Clearpay at London Fashion Week in September to debut its autumn/winter 2021 collection.
The event, on September 22 at 3pm, will feature a physical catwalk show merged with artistic portraiture and moving images that will also be livestreamed at cos.com.
The autumn/winter 2021 collection will mark a new direction from the brand, with a focus on craftsmanship and making for longevity, alongside a new logo that will be updated across all packaging this autumn.
In a press release, COS explained that its upcoming autumn/winter collection would embody timeless COS style signatures and embrace elevated, redefined wardrobe icons. While also highlighting material innovation and long-lasting design concepts with a focus on sustainability using organic and repurposed materials and recycled fabrics.
The retailer will also introduce new packaging that is 100 percent recyclable to align with its wider sustainability values, with packaging made using responsibly sourced paper and featuring durable woven paper handles.
COS has also cast a collective of inspiring innovators and creators for its collection campaign to “explore a new way of looking at contemporary culture through a fashion lens” with imagery, featuring activist, futurist and storyteller, Janaya Future Khan, alongside actor, Jodie Turner-Smith, playwright, actor and philanthropist, Jeremy O. Harris, and supermodel Raquel Zimmermann.
