Hirestreet owner CTR Group brings circular businesses under one umbrella
CTR Group, the owner of fashion rental platform Hirestreet and resale marketplace Thrift+, has launched Zoa Group, bringing together its circular retail businesses under one umbrella to help brands recover value from unsold stock.
The new platform combines Hirestreet and Thrift+ with resale businesses Wowzer and Cotswold Library, covering rental, resale and other second-life channels across fashion, homeware, electronics and books.
According to the group, its businesses have processed more than 10 million second-hand transactions across more than 20 sales channels, providing Zoa with data that allows it to direct products towards the channels most likely to recover their value.
The launch follows CTR Group’s acquisition of Hirestreet in last month, adding the rental platform to a portfolio that already included Thrift+, acquired in March 2025. The move supports CTR’s strategy of connecting consumer-facing circular businesses and helping retailers generate additional revenue through rental and resale.
Hirestreet’s integration also provides access to CTR’s logistics and operational infrastructure, which processes more than 1,500 tonnes of stock a week across 560,000 square feet of facilities in the UK and Europe.
Alongside this, Zoa also offers a rental-as-a-service proposition, enabling retailers to introduce clothing rental through their own websites, with the group handling warehousing, fulfilment, cleaning and repairs.
The platform aims to provide a single partner for managing overstock, customer returns and damaged or end-of-line goods. CTR has indicated that further acquisitions in the circular fashion sector could follow before the end of 2026, as it continues to expand its offering.
