Mango UK expands retail network as revenue hits 154 million pounds

Spanish fashion retailer MNG-Mango U.K. Limited has reported strong top-line growth for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, driven primarily by the expansion of its physical store fleet.

According to financial statements filed at Companies House, turnover increased 20.72 percent to 154.54 million pounds (204.5 million dollars), up from 128.01 million pounds in 2024. Profit before taxation rose to 5.51 million pounds, compared to 4.10 million pounds in the previous year. Net profit for the year reached 3.59 million pounds, up from 2.71 million pounds in 2024.

Physical retail expansion fuels growth

The UK unit attributed the revenue increase to higher store sales across its retail network. The company expanded its brick and mortar presence during the period, ending the year with 64 retail corporate stores compared to 49 in 2024.

Gross profit rose to 70.87 million pounds from 59.26 million pounds in the previous period. However, gross margin tightened slightly to 45.86 percent compared to 46.29 percent in 2024.

In the strategic report, director Margarita Salvans Puigbo noted that store sales continue to grow while online activity is expected to stabilise. Mango UK has operated its e-commerce channel in the market since February 2017.

Operational investments and future outlook

Administrative expenses rose to 81.69 million pounds, up from 64.57 million pounds in 2024, reflecting the operational costs associated with opening 15 new locations.

Other operating income, which includes marketing contributions from the parent company under transfer pricing arrangements and capital contributions, rose to 16.24 million pounds compared to 9.30 million pounds in 2024.

Looking ahead, Mango UK confirmed plans for further store openings in the market to continue its business growth strategy. While acknowledging that macroeconomic conditions present ongoing uncertainty for consumer demand, management expressed confidence in navigating market risks.
