Quiz Clothing: New partywear collection drives 6 percent like-for-like sales increase

Quiz Clothing has reported a 6 percent rise in like-for-like sales following the launch of its largest-ever partywear collection, signalling a strong start to the festive trading period.

The Scottish retailer unveiled a 250-piece women’s Partywear Collection in late October, a move that has driven early momentum in the run-up to Christmas. Initial trends show shoppers gravitating toward longer-length midi and maxi dresses in mesh, satin and velvet fabrics, with black, bottle green, navy and brown emerging as the season’s dominant colours. Footwear and accessories have also seen an uplift, led by demand for gold stiletto heels and clutch bags.

“QUIZ is renowned for its accessible partywear, and the 2025 Party Collection has had a great response from QUIZ consumers,” said CEO Sheraz Ramzan, noting a significant rise in dresses featuring fashion-forward textures and tones, and highlighting gold as the preferred metallic for complementing seasonal palettes.

Early sales data shows Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and London driving the strongest performance, with an average basket value of 60 POUNDS. The new collection includes 200 clothing styles and 50 accessories, designed for mix-and-match versatility and available from petite to size 22. Shot in the brand’s hometown of Glasgow, the Partywear Campaign captures the excitement of a night out while showcasing the brand’s inclusive approach to occasion dressing.

Quiz currently operates 40 UK stores alongside a network of franchise and online partners across the UK and internationally.
