Calvin Klein announces Ayub Mohamed as new global chief product officer

US-based fashion brand Calvin Klein, a subsidiary of PVH Corp., has appointed Ayub Mohamed as chief product officer, effective January 25, 2027. Mohamed will oversee the brand’s global product organisation, including design and merchandising. His focus will centre on advancing and executing a global product strategy across categories and regions to strengthen brand equity and drive commercial performance.

In this new role, Mohamed will join the Calvin Klein Global Leadership Team and report directly to global brand president David Savman. Mohamed brings more than two decades of global experience in product strategy, spanning luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands from concept to market.

Mohamed joins Calvin Klein from French brand Lacoste, where he served as executive vice president of product. In that position, he oversaw the global product organisation across design, merchandising and development while advancing a consumer and channel-centric approach to product strategy. Throughout his career, he has built a track record of optimizing assortments, improving product productivity and profitability, and scaling key categories.

“Ayub is an accomplished global product leader with a deep understanding of how to translate a brand’s creative identity into desirable product that drives both consumer relevance and commercial impact,” said Savman. “We see significant opportunity to leverage the strength of Calvin Klein’s iconic brand DNA across categories and markets. Ayub’s end-to-end product expertise, deep understanding of the marketplace and global perspective will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our offering and unlock the full potential of the brand.”

Prior to his role at Lacoste, Mohamed served as chief merchandising officer at French fashion house Kenzo, leading global product strategy and assortment development. He has also held senior leadership positions at US brands Tory Burch/Tory Sport, Donna Karan/DKNY and French brand Givenchy. Earlier in his career, Mohamed spent nearly eight years at Levi Strauss & Co., leading global men’s design, merchandising and development.

“Calvin Klein is one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands, with distinctive design codes and a compelling product offering,” said Mohamed. “I look forward to working with David and the team to build on that foundation, bringing a global product perspective that builds on the strength of the brand with assortments that inspire today’s global consumers.”
