Weekend Offender has appointed Jordan Wildrianne as managing director. He announced the move on LinkedIn on Wednesday.
Wildrianne joined the Welsh casualwear brand in March 2021 as head of global sales, a role he held until his recent promotion. Before Weekend Offender he worked at Wolverine Worldwide as account manager for CAT Lifestyle UK, and earlier as a running specialist at The Derby Runner.
Weekend Offender was founded in 2004 by friends Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell in South Wales, initially as a T-shirt range sold from Jones's store. The pair later brought in Aaron Thalmann as a partner as the label outgrew them. Its design language draws on British terrace casual culture, acid house, football fandom, music and cult film and television.
The label occupies the mid-market British casualwear space built around terrace and subculture heritage, competing with names such as Fred Perry, Ellesse, Lyle & Scott and Stone Island at a lower price point. Its core is menswear, with outerwear, polos, sweats and graphic pieces, though it now also lists womenswear, childrenswear, footwear and accessories.
Distribution runs through its own e-commerce site, UK independents and multi-brand retailers, and outlet retail — it has a store at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend.
