Harrods expands menswear lifestyle offer with redesigned Designer Collections room
Luxury department retailer Harrods has unveiled a redesigned Designer Collections room on the second floor of its Knightsbridge store, expanding its menswear lifestyle offering around versatile, everyday dressing.
The refreshed department merges luxury fashion and lifestyle brands with a greater focus on outerwear, knitwear and gilets, reflecting what Harrods says is growing demand for complete wardrobe solutions in place of individual pieces.
The space houses the likes of Herno, Purdey, Barbour, Sease, Orlebar Brown, Paul & Shark and Vilebrequin, alongside a central multi-brand area curated by Harrods. A dedicated pop-up space will also host exclusive launches, seasonal presentations and brand activations throughout the year.
Located within menswear on the second floor, the department includes six newly designed shopfits, each tailored to the identity and craftsmanship of the brands featured. Its introducion forms part of Harrods’ wider focus on combining luxury fashion with lifestyle-led shopping.
In a statement, Yasmin Mehmet, menswear buying manager at Harrods, said the redesign “marks a significant expansion of our lifestyle category” and reflects how customers are increasingly shopping for complete wardrobes.
Mehmet continued: “By bringing together a carefully curated selection of brands and creating an environment dedicated to discovery and inspiration, we are further strengthening our offer for the modern menswear customer."
