Kidswear concept store Ginnibò has released a made-to-order capsule designed for mothers and their children, offering coordinating looks that can be exclusively pre-ordered online.

The format is “an integral part of the company’s own production process”, with the label stating in a release it looks to expand on this initiative through evolving it into further capsules. This implementation was put in place in order to guarantee the high quality of a final product, cementing goods under the e-tailer’s banner of “Made in Italy, printed in Italy”, using 100 percent cotton.

The utilisation of this 3D technology, from the creation and design phase to on-demand production, also considers sustainable ethics and zero waste practices.

As a starting point, the capsule offers two print options, both designed by Swedish illustrator Maja Faber. Sizes range from one to 12 years, and small, medium and large for mothers. The looks will be available for pre-order until November 25.

Since its founding, Ginnibò has prioritised its digital presence, working with multiple collaborators through the digital realm, and releasing solely through its e-shop. It now looks to venture into the ‘phygital’, with the collection launch coinciding with an Italian-based pop-up, open throughout November, that further establishes the label’s omnichannel presence. Alongside the limited edition selection, visitors can place a digital order on-site via QR codes located at the store.
