US denim giant Levi’s plans to open a further 13 stores in the UK “in the near future” as part of its global brick-and-mortar expansion.

The company aims to increase its store count in the UK by 20 percent, bringing its total to 65, Levi Strauss & Co's senior vice president of North America, Lucia Marcuzzo, told Drapers.

Exactly where those locations will be and when they’ll open has not yet been disclosed.

Marcuzzo said the company “definitely believes in brick-and-mortar retail”.

During its investor day earlier in June, Levi’s announced plans to open 400 new stores across the world by 2027.
