Only makes London outlet debut at The O2

Danish fashion brand Only is set to make its London outlet debut at Outlet Shopping at The O2, joining a series of retail additions and reinvestments at the south-east London destination.

The retailer has signed for a 4,000-square-foot store, where it will offer womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, footwear and accessories. The location will sit alongside brands including Calvin Klein, Reiss and Kate Spade New York.

Menswear retailer The Label Yard has also opened a 1,323-square-foot store, while French Connection and Le Creuset have recommitted to their existing units. The latest activity follows a 14 percent year-on-year increase in fashion sales at the outlet in September.

Speaking on the store, Robin Ward, UK country retail manager at Only, said: “The O2’s great reputation extends firmly beyond the arena, and it’s this combination of leading retail in an iconic location that drove our decision to launch our London debut within Outlet Shopping at The O2.

"As we begin expanding further across the UK, it’s important to us that we select the right locations, and we knew that Outlet Shopping at The O2 was the right place for us to kickstart this journey.”

The announcement follows a strong August for The O2, when retail sales across Outlet Shopping grew 11 percent YoY, compared with UK retail sales growth of 0.7 percent reported by the British Retail Consortium.
