Primark operating just under 50 US stores following debut openings in Georgia
Primark is set to open its first-ever store in Georgia, bringing the value fashion retailer’s total number of US stores to 47.
The new 26,000 square foot store, located in Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville, is set to open its doors on September 8. Another store is set to open in Augusta, Georgia shortly afterwards.
“Our expansion into the state of Georgia is something we're extremely excited about. We're thrilled to bring the residents of Atlanta Primark's signature everyday essentials at affordable prices,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US, in a statement.
“We know that Primark's offering of quality fashion at exceptional value is more important than ever to today's consumers, and we're looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers from Georgia's capital.”
The new store will offer Primark’s full range of fashion and everyday basics for women, men and children. Key price points include women’s jeans from 12 dollars, men’s T-shirts from 5 dollars and children’s sweatshirts from 8 dollars. The assortment will also feature licensed Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons merchandise, with prices starting at 16 dollars.
The upcoming openings in Georgia come as Primark sees significant momentum across the US, following its debut store opening in Boston in 2015. US sales rose 14 percent year to date in 2026, highlighting the continued growth of the market as Primark expands its presence across the country.
In its interim H1 2026 results, Primark noted that it expects new store openings in Europe and the US to contribute around 4 percent to sales growth in 2026, with expansion in untapped markets forecast to add a further 4 percent to 5 percent annually in the longer term.
