Ted Baker returns to UK high street with opening of standalone menswear store

UK lifestyle brand Ted Baker has announced its return to standalone retail in the UK with the opening of Ted Baker Tailored on October 2, 2026. Located in London’s financial district at 155 Fenchurch Street, the store represents an evolution of the company's retail presence in its home market, building on its core menswear heritage.

Rooted in traditional British tailoring, the new location offers a complete menswear range spanning suiting to elevated everyday apparel. The store environment incorporates immersive retail design and characterful details reflecting the brand's distinct aesthetic.

“This opening is an important milestone for Ted Baker in its home market and a reaffirmation of the brand’s British heritage and the enduring relevance of the category where it all began,” said Henry Stupp, president, lifestyle Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI) at Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), the owner of Ted Baker. Stupp added that London is the natural place to begin the next chapter of the brand's retail strategy.

The physical rollout is supported by UK retailer Suit Direct, which has designed and manufactured suiting for the brand over several years.

"Ted Baker Tailored represents an exciting new chapter in that partnership – bringing together our expertise in craftsmanship, attention to detail and contemporary style in a dedicated retail space," said Tim Murphy, chief executive officer of Suit Direct.

The launch marks the next phase of the strategy for Ted Baker as it seeks to strengthen its physical retail footprint across the UK. Founded in 1988, the brand offers apparel, footwear and accessories across global markets.
