UK sourcing fair Fashion SVP returned to Olympia London this week, marking its 18th edition, this time under new ownership. Its revival was driven by Ark Expos Ltd, a British exhibition and events firm founded in 2025 that promised an enhanced iteration of the fair with an emphasis on international reach.
Spanning November 18 to 19, the event saw exhibitors descend from over 30 countries, with everything from European ateliers to Asian manufacturers present to represent major garment producing areas. Categories were spread across knitwear, denim, jersey, outerwear, accessories, and full-service production, with such a range intended to mirror current trends and cultural heritage.
A particular emphasis was placed on British suppliers. Such firms were highlighted at the UK Pavilion, where local craftsmanship was placed in the spotlight. Here, exhibitors included family-run producer Le Cashmere; eco-conscious cashmere manufacturer Golden Homeworld; UK-based knitwear manufacturer Dee Kay Knitwear; and ethical womenswear brand Hyria.
A seminar programme ran through the two days, platforming leaders in sourcing, sustainability and technology. Among them were UKFT’s director of international affairs, Paul Alger; People Tree and Fashion Declares founder, Safia Minney; and Superdry’s former head of global sourcing, ethical and sustainability, Nicola Slater.
Speaking on this latest edition, director of Fashion SVP, Ralph Goodstone, said: “Fashion SVP has been an incredible showcase of creativity, innovation, and quality this year. From the fashion show to our seminars and networking programme, the energy on the floor was fantastic. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 19th edition in April 2026.”
