Anthropologie has launched an exclusive collaboration with British heritage brand Barbour, extending their partnership beyond fashion into home and pet categories for the first time. The collection, which launched on Monday, spans tabletop items, textiles, lighting, outerwear and pet accessories, with prices ranging from 18 to 674 dollars.

The expansion builds on a partnership that began in May 2025, when Barbour's outerwear first arrived at Anthropologie and, according to the retailer, quickly became a customer favorite with styles regularly selling out.

Anthropologie said it is growing its Barbour assortment by 200 percent year over year as a result, with the new collection marking Barbour's first move into home products through the partnership.

"We saw an opportunity to take the pieces our customers already love and imagine what else that world could look like through the Anthropologie lens," said Anu Narayanan, global president of women's, home and retail at Anthropologie. For Barbour, founded in 1894 in South Shields, in the northeast of England, and known chiefly for its waxed jackets, the deal offers a route into a retail audience distinct from its traditional countryside positioning. Nicola Brown, director of womenswear at Barbour, described the goal as infusing the brand's heritage with "a distinctly feminine spirit" through the collaboration.

A test case for category expansion through partnership The collection combines Barbour's tartans with Anthropologie's own pattern and color sensibility across five exclusive outerwear styles, coordinating pet accessories, and a home range including mugs, bowls, pillows, throw blankets, floor cushions and LED lanterns. The breadth of the assortment signals an attempt to extend a proven fashion partnership into adjacent categories rather than simply expanding the existing outerwear range.

For Anthropologie, the move fits a broader strategy of using exclusive partnerships with established brands to widen its home and lifestyle offering, a category the retailer has been building out alongside its fashion business. For Barbour, a fifth-generation family business, the collaboration represents a case study in how a single-category heritage brand can use a retail partner's design language to enter new product categories without diluting its own name. The collection is available at select Anthropologie stores and on Anthropologie.com.
