JD Sports brings Yeezy back to physical retail in US

JD Sports Fashion has begun selling Yeezy footwear in the US, marking the brand’s return to physical retail following the end of its partnership with Adidas and rapper Ye.
The British sportswear retailer began offering selected Yeezy styles from August 13, with the range available online and at participating JD Sports stores across the US. The collection includes slip-ons for men and women and a women’s mule, priced between 44 and 108 dollars.
A JD Sports spokesperson confirmed to German trade publication Textilwirtschaft that this is the first time Yeezy has returned to brick-and-mortar retail since Adidas ended its partnership with Ye in 2022. The retailer has not confirmed whether the offer will expand to Europe.
Yeezy disappeared from mainstream retail after Adidas terminated its partnership with Ye in October 2022 following a series of antisemitic remarks, leaving Adidas with a large stock of unsold Yeezy products and significantly impacting financials for the sportswear group.
The new JD Sports deal returns Yeezy to a more traditional retail platform as Ye continues to develop the brand independently, following a period focused largely on direct-to-consumer sales.
The move also comes as JD Sports continues to strengthen its US business. North America became the group’s largest regional market in FY26, accounting for 38 percent of sales, with revenue reaching 4.78 billion pounds following its acquisition of Hibbett.
