Snipes appoints Arne Henning as European marketing head
Snipes has appointed a new senior head of marketing in Europe. Arne Henning has been responsible for the position at the Cologne-based streetwear retailer since November, Snipes announced on Wednesday. He succeeds Marian Paul, who previously led the department.
With Henning, Snipes is opting for an internal promotion. The new marketing chief joined the streetwear retailer in 2015 as a marketing trainee and worked his way up to head of brand and content over the course of his career. In this role, he actively shaped numerous developments in marketing, according to the company.
“With Henning, we are making a very conscious decision for the future leadership of our marketing. We evaluated various candidates during the selection process, and he convinced us with his experience, his development and his clear understanding of our brand,” said Samuel Deichmann, general manager Europe at Snipes.
In his new role, Henning aims to work with the team to develop a marketing strategy that further sharpens the brand, consolidates its cultural relevance and focuses even more strongly on customers and the various markets. Henning outlined these as his objectives.
