Australian department store Myer has announced it will host a dedicated runway show for Topshop as part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival (PMFF). The event is scheduled for the evening of February 26, 2026, marking the first time the British brand will hold a standalone catwalk presentation in Australia.
The showcase follows the recent relaunch of the London-based label exclusively within Myer brick and mortar locations and through its e-commerce platform. The runway will feature the latest spring/summer 2026 (SS26) collection alongside an exclusive preview of upcoming pieces scheduled for release in the following months.
Strategic relaunch in Australian market
Myer chief marketing officer, Clarabella Burley, stated that the event signifies a pivotal moment for the retailer as it integrates the British brand into its premium fashion portfolio. Burley noted that customer response to the exclusive partnership has been high, prompting the decision to create a large-scale immersive experience.
The initiative aims to combine the aesthetic of the London-based brand with a local perspective to celebrate its return to the Australian retail landscape. According to Burley, the company intends to continue elevating its fashion offering by developing these types of significant consumer events.
