Prada Group and the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC/UNESCO) have announced an expanded partnership at the UNESCO Member States Assembly. The collaboration is part of the Sea Beyond program, aimed at promoting ocean literacy and preservation since 2019.

During an official press conference at UNESCO's headquarters, key figures from Prada Group and IOC/UNESCO gathered to mark the occasion. The partnership involves Prada Group committing to donate 1 percent of revenue from its Prada Re-Nylon ranges to support and advance the Sea Beyond project.

This commitment will enable the implementation of a two-year program on ocean literacy that goes beyond education and includes scientific research and humanitarian projects. The goal is to transform Sea Beyond into an inclusive platform that welcomes third-party initiatives aligned with ocean preservation principles.

To strengthen collaboration, Prada Group and IOC/UNESCO will establish an Ocean Decade Coordination Office in Venice, housed within the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science & Culture in Europe and the IOC Project Office on Ocean Literacy.
